That is one extremely accurate 13 handicap golfer. If you can hit the ball 250+ down the middle like that he must must have a terrible short game to get to a 13 handicap.
two weeks ago I shot a 42 on a tough nickaluas designed links course going out..then double bogey + on the back nine ending with a 53 coming in..I was beside myself..
but thats what makes golf fun i guess
they are for the GC2 they give you the face angle path etc and where the ball strikes the face
Will it make any or no difference to my game if I move up to stiff shafts. Peter D.

Keep up the great work
In regards to versatility, it's one the best Drivers on the market in my view.
Feel wise, it's great.
An all round top driver.
As I said in the earlier vid, if +Mizuno market this club correctly and get the advertising right, this will be their best seller EVER!
I see your point, but that's why I warm up properly before I do any reviews. That way I can take that bias out old the equation

great to watch the series and as a 13handicapper ....... with "the beard" I think you may look well suited to a Sombrero !
As it stands I still have the X2 HOT & SLDR 'S'. Need to save for a new one lol
To just get back to where I was distance wise 9 years ago means a lot
maybe you could give ricky some tips on keeping it in the fairway if you have time.
I'm serious about this!!!
Thanks
#laughathaters
So many Drivers, not enough time lol
Super content as usual, Rick.
Nice drives Rob. Interested to see the performance after you get fitted.
Keep'em coming Mr. Shiels.
Things got under control with the SLDR 'S'
I've asked the local fitter for a try at the Aero after your massive distance change. Hope you and rick will follow up with your choice fit for you. Just would like to see the final outcome. Surprised the V Series wasn't there from Callaway. BTW your Ping G30 comments right on. It is consistent but I can't get enough out of it. Looking forward to what you end up with here. Nice work!
ORDER THAT CLUB!!
Fingers crossed with the things I wanna work woth +RickShielsPGAGolf thorugh the winter, I can push on and hit the ground running next season.
I can see your point about tinkering. I must have really good self discipline because once my driver has been set up for me I leave it alone. I assume that any poor shots are definitely down to me and work on correcting my swing.
Adjustable drivers do have a place for us Amateur golfers, but the problem being, once it's set in a particular setting and shots start to go errant, it's easy for the golfer to further exaggerate the fault buy tweeking those settings even more. Making the void of inconsistency worse.
The good old days of "hit what you bought" isn't necessarily a bad thing still.
It should make the Amateur golfer then go to his/her pro to try and improve the swing and iron out the fault without it artificially moulding the result.
I'm actually REALLY torn between the two concepts, as I see worth in them both and especially to where I am in my development now.
But this is where I am stuck in a corner, as I feel adjustability can and in many cases, is a distraction.
Too much blame can be put on the settings and not the mug whose hitting it.
A few bad shots and folk start to play about, and get themselves in a right mess.
Where as off the shelf clubs like the Aero Burner I think, are more beneficial as it makes you sort out your fundamentals for poor shots.
I literally am tied between the two.
But I do like the Mizuno LOTS for its over all looks and versitility.
As i said in the videos though, having all the adjustability can only lead to confusion, coz I guarentee you, many amatures will change the settings (once fitted) if they start to have poor results. This only gets folks into knots.
thats why I love the simplicity of the Aero Burner.
Rob, you must have been middling a lot of those clubs! Awesome to be that consistent with a driver.
I was a decent day on the ball striking. But showed on this final video, that when I or any amature that that matter, starts to really go at it, your dispersion levels get worse.
There was a few that didnt hit the fairway in that last test.
Could Rob get used to the White head or will he give it a coat of go faster black ??
Would be interesting to see how a regular shaft performs by comparison.
Illustrates how marginal the differences are between the top brands.
Obviously a shaft which is 5% longer yields a 5% increase in head speed.
Keep up the good work guys
Would love to see Rob join on for a on course vlog at some point, think it would be really enjoyable to watch.
Slow down Robert! Sounds like you're going to test drivers until your hands bleed. ;)
Although I haven't hit the 815 Alpha, Srixon, or Cobra etc. They could chuck up some interesting numbers
I'm literally torn between the too!
The TaylorMade Driver is a raw power driver. Where the Mizuno is versatile with option of forgiveness with some distance and all out rage that you wouldn't expect.
Thank you
Happy to have a ponder and look at some of the other that I haven't hit. But I do love the Mizuno and the results from the Aero Burner
It's a long road to recovery ain't it? I'm just glad I had Family, Golf & Heavy Metal! It got me through the hard times ☺
