My Golf Spy says Sketchers are ranked #1 of all golf Shoes. They have 'no' affiliation with any of the shoe manufacturers. Have you tried them? Maybe you should.......I would like to know your thoughts on them too......

We do sell a lot of Skechers and it is true they are very comfortable shoes. Don't think we have sent them down for Mark to review yet though. Well worth looking at when getting your next pair.

AS you now have an alliance with footjoy and singing their praises. It wasn't that long aga when you didn't have the alliance saying how great adidas bounce was.......a little confusing ...isn't it?

do pilates justin , brilliant for back problems .gives you super strong deep core strength to support your spine and give it the stability back its lacking now and also will help you hit the ball further

Hi Mark, I own a pair and love them but feel that the toe could have a bit of projection as it's warring out on my back foot from turning onto it in the swing, have you found the same?

I always struggle with the sizing of Footjoy. Either other shoe manufacturers got it all wrong or FJ does. Have a pair of DNA's but they feel wide to be honest (are regular width). Also need to downsize 1,5 sizes from my normal shoe size. How doe the Pro SL compare fitting wise to the DNA?

Fj’s sizing is definitely in a world of its own but these are amazing shoes. Half size down for sure.

I have a pair of BOA Pro SL and they are very comfortable and I love the BOA feature. Now, what I don't like is the red rubber spikes will not grab wet grass if you're playing in the rain. Also if you wear these shoes too often when you leave the course (on concrete) you will were down the red rubber spikes quicker. I think Footboy should make the red rubber spikes higher (I would pay more). Once again, there are very comfortable.

these are on limited supply in uk atm, the big stores have been allocated a limited number, i believe these were released in USA in August last year but Footjoy have held back full release until end of March, could not get my size locally so i bought the 2016 model which are Dryjoy Casuals on ebay new for £65, couldn't be arsed to wait another month and pay the extra £65

I have the white version of the Pro SLs, yep Boa ties are nice. They clic up tight with a twist and loosen by pulling back on the dial. Mid round its so easy to snug them up. I found my 10.5 Xwides, generous in size, could have gone down to a 10 Xwide but still fine with a bit thicker sock. The white cleans up fairly easy though I wear my black Foot Joys when its muddy. I don't wear them much off course so haven't noticed any significantly quicker spike wear than other shoes. I agree, they are pricy but for comfort, stability, grip and convenience, I really feel they couldn't be any better.

Have the same black pair as you. Best golf shoes I've ever had. Will never buy Adidas again. 2 year waterproof claim was a joke. Even replacement pair leaked.

Mark what are your thoughts with the SL in the rain or wet fairways?? I would love to grab a pair but I don't see how the spikeless could out perform a spiked shoe.

Fj makes great products.. but my personal take is nothing will be as good as the xps1 from a few years ago.. the support it gives outside the shoe is undeniable, especially if you ever had knee surgery... keep up the great work Crossfield
