In this video I ask what's going on with Nike golf shoes at the moment. Why do they keep releasing sneaker versions and what will be the next shoe....will it be spiked? I really do hope so! But of course that is speculation, as I’m sure we’ll never hear the truth from Nike or BK.
For me it wasn't the softness that caused the instability, it was the very loose material supporting the front of my ankle, for me personally I just need more support there. Even if I was running in those shoes, that wouldn't give me enough and I would roll my ankle.
I love the direction on Nike Golf shoes in 2020. Tell me what traditional shoe looks good or modern or young or not like grandpa? Prior to the Nike Free-derived TW ‘13, Nike shoes were ugly dress shoes with an air unit and spikes. These days, these shoes are beautiful and most times functional.
Not every trainer conversion is going to work, but I love the Infinity Tours and 270Gs. And, the compliments I get from my wife and teenagers, tells me that they are cool, especially since the teenage daughter never comments on my clothes.
I got a lot of comments in the 270G too, although my son is only 1 years old so he just cried, and my wife thought I was trying to look like one of her pupils! Haha!
The Air Max and Vapour are just too different to compare really, given one is spiked and the other is spikeless.
In terms of comfort, the vapour 2 is significantly softer underfoot, but is also more stable given the fly wire used and TPU sole plate it also has more padding in the heel and ankle.
The Air Max gives your the flexibility to wear off the course but it’s still quite firm underfoot and the grip doesn’t work great off the course, for example in the mall. It is actually stable enough for most golfers too, but you either get e first version with the synthetic leather upper which gets quite hot, or the 2nd mesh version which isn’t waterproof.
I have videos on both, in fact I think I even have a comparison video

Thanks for watching!!
Anyway, keep up the good work buddy!
Yeah I think you’re probably right, I just wonder if they’re lining up a new spiked golf shoe, just not based on a pre existing pair of trainers
